Stocker Subaru is Committed to Our Community
Stocker Subaru Partners with CenClear to Support Local Book Drive
Stocker Subaru teamed up with CenClear's Family Centers for a community-wide Book Drive to benefit the Parents as Teachers program. The goal? Fill a bus with books to support families and encourage early childhood development through reading. We invited the community to donate new or gently used books for both children and adults - and every donation helped bring the joy of reading into more homes. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to education and making a positive impact through the Subaru Love Promise.
Car Seat Safety Checks Provided with Help from Pennsylvania State Police
Families came out to learn more about proper car seat installation during our recent safety event, hosted at Stocker Subaru. The Pennsylvania State Police were on-site to inspect car seats, offer tips, and provide hands-on guidance to ensure children are riding safely. The event was part of our continued efforts to support safety and education in the community.
Stocker Subaru Supports Pets Come First
We had the pleasure of welcoming Pets Come First to Stocker Subaru to receive their check for $23,729 as part of Subaru's Share the Love Event. This incredible organization provides care, shelter, and second chances to animals of all kinds - from dogs and cats to rabbits, guinea pigs, and even horses. We're proud to support their mission and the difference they make in our community every day. Interested in helping? Visit www.petscomefirst.net or find them on Facebook to adopt, donate, or get involved.
Subaru Loves Learning in Our Community - Westgate Elementary
Through Subaru Loves Learning, we were proud to support education in our local community. We partnered with a local school to help provide resources for students and teachers. Supporting learning helps create stronger futures for students of all ages. Education plays an important role in building a strong community!
Stocker Subaru Delivers Comfort to Cancer Patients Through Subaru Loves to Care
Stocker Subaru visited Mount Nittany Medical Center to deliver blankets to leukemia and lymphoma patients, in partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. Blankets were accompanied by handwritten notes from community members, offering warmth and encouragement to those undergoing treatment. Hospital staff expressed their appreciation, noting how meaningful these simple gifts can be for patients facing tough days. The visit was a heartfelt reminder that small gestures can bring big comfort. Stocker Subaru is honored to support local families and bring hope where it's needed most.
Supporting Pets Come First Through Subaru Loves Pets
We partnered with our local animal shelter, Pets Come First, through Subaru Loves Pets. This partnership allowed us to support animals in need while connecting with our community. Working alongside Pets Come First helped raise awareness for pet adoption and animal welfare. We were proud to support an organization that shares our love for pets.
A Win for Our Community and Local Pets
Through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Stocker Subaru partnered with Pets Come First to support pet adoptions and animal welfare efforts. During the event, Erin Rubio was the winner of the Subaru vehicle. In addition to celebrating the winner, program funding helped provide adoption support, including:
- New dog and cat parent kits
- Microchipping services
- Support resulting in 48 cats and 22 dogs finding loving homes
A Spooktacular Day of Community Fun
This fall, we hosted a Trunk or Treat event at our dealership to give local families a fun and safe way to celebrate the season. Our team decorated vehicles and handed out treats to kids in costume. It was great to see so many families enjoying time together! Events like this remind us that we are more than just cars. This is how we live the Subaru Love Promise in our community.
Stocker Subaru Hosts Hands-On Car Care Clinic
Stocker Subaru recently hosted a free, hands-on car care clinic to help community members learn more about their vehicles. Attendees got hands-on demonstrations and one-on-one guidance from our Subaru team, covering basic car care and answering questions about vehicles' features and maintenance. It was a great opportunity for attendees to learn more about their cars in a relaxed, interactive setting - all part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and educating our community.
