SUBARU DEBUTS 2018 OUTBACK

 

The 2018 Outback made its debut at the New York International Auto Show in April and will arrive in dealerships this summer. Stocker Subaru in State College is excited to introduce you to the latest model of Subaru’s best-seller, the #Outback.

The 2018 Outback features revised styling along with significant upgrades to comfort, safety and multimedia capability. Many new engineering and design details enhance the driving experience and the Outback’s versatility. 

A rear-view camera is standard on all Outback trim lines. To help guide the driver when reversing, the guidelines displayed on the screen move in sync with the steering. Another new feature, Reverse Automatic Braking  detects objects in the vehicle’s path and sends audible warnings to the driver, showing distance and position of the object in the center display screen when reversing. Also available for 2018 is the optional Steering Responsive Headlight system for 2018. In addition, the tire pressure monitoring system now detects pressure changes at individual tires. The Blind Spot Detection/Rear Cross Traffic Alert indicator lamp is larger and has been moved from the mirror’s surface to the side.  

As the first sport utility wagon, the Subaru Outback helped launch the crossover trend more than 20 years ago. Today, the Outback offers the most interior room of any sport-utility wagon. The 2018 boasts 35.5 cu. ft. of space behind the rear seats. With the standard 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback folded, there’s 73.3 cu. ft. of space.
