Enjoy A Tasting at Beautiful Happy Valley Vineyard and Winery

 

Central Pennsylvania provides a unique growing area for the specific varietals grown at Happy Valley. #HappyValleyVineyard and Winery invites you to come to a free tasting. Their gorgeous timber frame tasting room hosts free walk-in wine tastings during the week and on weekends. Our Stocker Subaru staff recommends you take a drive out to Happy Valley Vineyard and Winery to enjoy an afternoon or evening tasting. Happy Valley is just 10 minutes from State College, PA where our dealership is located.

Located on a farm established in the 1850s, the 9-acre vineyard contains over 15 varieties of grapes for the production of Happy Valley wines. The grapes are carefully hand-picked at every harvest to ensure the finest fruit are entering the winery. Happy Valley Vineyard and Winery produced their first vintage in 2010. 

The vineyard consists of white and red cultivars that are well adapted to the continental climate of Centre County and to the limestone soils of our farm. They grow 90% of the grapes that used in their wine, so they are considered "Farm to Bottle". Wine varieties range from dry fruity whites to oaky full bodied reds. “Everyone’s” favorite is Appalachia Red, a sweet blend of concord and blackberry. They also have an award winning Ice Wine.

 

Happy Valley uses sustainable agricultural practices in the vineyard, as well as energy efficient products in their wine-making process. Summer tasting hours (April 1 - October 31) are Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00AM – 6:00PM; Friday & Saturday:  11:00AM – 9:00PM; Sunday: 1:00PM – 6:00PM.
