2017 Subaru Legacy Features All-New Sport Trim

 

The all-new Sport trim level for the #2017Legacy features unique exterior and interior accents. The 2017 Subaru Legacy midsize sedan has a comfortable interior, standard all-wheel drive, power from two engine options and lots of safety features. The new model features a dark gray grille, gloss black housings for the foglights and 18-inch alloy wheels. A bright silver finish on the side mirrors and a chrome rocker trim complete the distinguished new look.

Inside the cabin, the 2017 Subaru Legacy Sport features a two-tone gray and black cloth interior with contrasting blue stitching. A carbon fiber-looking trim pattern is on the door panels and dash. The door switch panels and steering wheel switches are a piano-black finish. The new model will also come standard with Subaru’s StarLink infotainment system on a 7-inch touchscreen.

All models except the flagship 3.6R are powered by a standard 2.5-liter flat four-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. The flagship 3.6R Limited model will be powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that generates 256 hp and 247 lb-ft. Both engines will be paired with a CVT with a manual mode and paddle shifters mounted on the back of the steering wheel.

The EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package is available on all models excluding the base 2.5i Legacy. It includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane departure warning, sway warning and lane keep assist. The 2.5i Premium and all-new 2.5i Sport models offer blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert. Both these features come standard on the 2.5i Limited and 3.6R Limited models. High Beam Assist is offered on all models aside from the base model. Reverse automatic braking is only available on the new 2.5i Sport model or higher. All models feature a standard rearview camera.
