The Best Beer, Burgers & Crepes in State College!

Otto’s brewery and restaurant are co-located and feature a family-friendly, casual atmosphere, just minutes from Penn State. Another homegrown family restaurant in State College is Underground Burgers and Crepes. While they used to be located underground, a fire caused them to move to their current location at 404 E. Calder Way. In addition to great food made with the freshest ingredients, the atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. Customers are encouraged to draw on the chalkboard wall in the back of the restaurant. The menu features fresh burgers, as well as salads, crepes and waffles. An unusual combination? The owner, Hiyajneh said he wanted to offer something sweet to offset the burgers and that he offers salads to provide a healthier option. The burgers are large and fresh. Vegetarian options include a delicious black bean burger.
