2017 Subaru BRZ Has All-New Track Mode for Better Handling

 

The Subaru BRZ sports coupe was updated for 2017 with special emphasis on performance and handling. Other upgrades for 2017 include an updated exterior design, revised interior styling and features list as well as a new Track mode. The 2017 Subaru BRZ sports coupe offers seating for four. It is available in two trim levels with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The BRZ is powered by a 2.0-liter Boxer four-cylinder engine with rear-wheel drive. The Boxer engine has been upgraded with new valves and more, resulting in 205 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque with the manual transmission and 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque with the automatic transmission.

To improve handling on the the #2017BRZ , Subaru added updated coil springs and dampers and a larger rear stabilizer bar. With these updates,  Subaru changed the “Sport” drive mode to “Track.”

In addition to significant performance and handling updates, the interior is more upscale and modern looking. The steering wheel was redesigned and a new 4.2 performance display has been integrated into the instrument panel.  Premium materials and Alcantara seat inserts create an attractive, sporty, luxury cabin.
