The body rigidity alone has improved by 70-100% over the outgoing platform. Subaru has also remodeled the engine and the transmission. The continuously variable automatic transmission has been fine tuned to assist with power, and at the same time it delivers improved fuel economy. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has been lightened and given even more power. And drivers will appreciate the 26 mpg overall and 34 mpg on the highway!
Safety First
#Subaru provides Hill Descent Control to restrict speed when driving down steep hills. EyeSight is Subaru’s driver-assist technology, and it comes standard with features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist and automatic pre-collision braking. Adaptive headlamps are also expected, and optional safety features include blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning.
