Subaru Debuts Limited Edition WRX STI Type RA & BRZ tS

 

Subaru of America, Inc. recently announced two new performance models: the 2018 Subaru WRX STI Type RA and the 2018 Subaru BRZ tS. Both are performance focused models engineered specifically for driving enthusiasts. Only 500 of each model will be produced. These vehicles will arrive at our State College dealership in early 2018. RA stands for “Record Attempt” and has been applied to a variety of Subaru performance models over the years. A special race model WRX STI Type RA NBR Special will attempt a Nürburgring speed record this summer.

The #2018WRXSTITypeRA delivers increased performance through weight reduction, suspension and engine upgrades. The limited edition WRX STI Type RA is powered by a 2.5 liter turbocharged BOXER engine. The WRX STI Type RA is identified by the Cherry Blossom Red accent around both the front mesh grille and new rear bumper cover. Each vehicle has been individually numbered with a plaque mounted on the center console.

With the 2018 BRZ tS, you’ll get the highest level of “fun to drive” and “pure handling delight” through greater flexibility, better control and stability.

The BRZ is known for its ultra-low center of gravity and precision handling. 

Available colors for both models are Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Silica and Crystal White Pearl.
