The #2017SubaruForester was upgraded for the 2017 model year. Upgrades include revised exterior styling, interior enhancements and expanded driver assist technologies. The 2017 Subaru Forester features a unique hexagonal front grille. Premium-trim models feature a body-color rear spoiler. Interior updates include a redesigned steering wheel with revised cruise control as well as audio controls. Better sound dampening comes from thicker door glass, an acoustic windshield and new door seals. The Touring model has an available Saddle Brown leather interior and a heated steering wheel. Standard features across most Forester trims include two-position memory seats, automatic climate control and an optional power liftgate on the 2.5i Premium model.

The Forester has seating for five and is powered by either a 2.5-liter flat-four cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter turbo-four cylinder engine. The base 2.5 offers a six-speed manual or a CVT, while the turbo model comes with a standard CVT. Six trim levels mean you can customize your Forester to fit your needs. Trim levels include the 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Touring, 2.0XT Premium and 2.0XT Touring. 

The Forester is one of the safest crossovers on the market and is an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award winner. Subaru’s EyeSight active safety tech package has been updated to include color cameras with a wider and longer view, lane keep assist, blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert. You also get high beam assist and steering-responsive headlights, as well as reverse automatic braking.
