Subaru and Camden Habitat for Humanity Team Up to Build A Brighter Future in Camden, NJ

 

Camden County Habitat for Humanity and Subaru of America, Inc. volunteers recently began construction of a new house on Royden Street, in Camden, New Jersey. Tom Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. and 12 Subaru volunteers joined Camden County Habitat for Humanity last June to begin building a new home for the Martinez Family. Jessica Martinez is a single parent who works a full-time job and goes to school. She has a six-year-old son Ethan and baby girl arriving in September. Jessica is looking forward to having a place for her kids to call home. Stocker Subaru in State College PA appreciates what Subaru of America does for Camden County Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity has been working in the Camden community for more than 30 years and is very appreciative of the support of Subaru in helping with this project. At the end of the workday, all exterior walls were raised, and set in place. Habitat is planning on completing this home by the end of September 2017 with the help of Subaru volunteers.
