The 2017 Subaru Outback is a two-row midsize crossover. It comes with all-wheel drive, two engine options and six trim levels. Brilliant Brown has been added as a new exterior color.

The interior of the new Touring model features a lush new Java Brown perforated leather trim with contrasting ivory stitching on the seats, door panels and armrests. It also features a unique woodgrain trim with black panel accents. The Touring Trim comes standard with a heated steering wheel, great for those frigid State College winter days. You also get the StarLink infotainment system on a 7.0-inch touchscreen. 

Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package is available on all models except the base model. This package includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane departure warning, sway warning and lane keep assist. Other available features include blind spot detection with lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert, high beam assist and reverse automatic braking. When equipped with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, the 2017 Outback received the 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK award. When HID headlights are added, the 2017 Outback received the 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award.
