The Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Is Great For A Family Outing

  

Looking for a family outing where you can get close to nature? The Millbrook Marsh Nature Center is a relaxing natural setting close to home. Admission to the center is free and the Millbrook Marsh trails and grounds are open daily dawn to dusk.

Millbrook Marsh Nature Center is operated by Centre Region Parks & Recreation. It consists of a 62-acre site with a 12-acre farmstead area that includes a large bank barn and several outbuildings. The Nature Center is adjacent to a 50-acre wetland area. 

 

If you want to get more out of your visit, schedule a guided walk with a naturalist who can tell you about the plants, wildlife, habitat and history of the unique marsh ecosystem. Guided walks can be designed for all ages and are perfect for individuals, families or small groups. 

The facilities at the Nature Center are available for rent to groups from churches, schools, neighborhoods, scout groups and businesses. If you’re planning a group picnic, meeting, birthday party or other group activity, think about having it at the Nature Center.
