Hands-On Science Education At the Discovery Space of Central PA

 

The non-profit Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania is an exciting growing science museum. They feature interactive exhibits and hands-on programs that are designed to provide valuable informal science education, especially in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in a fun learning environment. Our Stocker Subaru staff is all for helping children learn about science.

The more than 45 interactive exhibits are designed to encourage play, exploration and, most of all, experimentation. Exhibits are rotated regularly so there’s always something new to explore. The mission of #DiscoverySpace is to provide engaging science experiences which spark creativity, curiosity and imagination.

Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania has the advantage of being near The Pennsylvania State University. This close proximity allows for many valuable collaborations in both program  and exhibit development with the students and staff of the Colleges of Arts and Architecture, Education, Engineering and the Eberly College of Science.

Discovery Space receives support from community organizations, businesses and local government, as well as individual contributors. Discovery Space has become known as the best place in central Pennsylvania for fun science experiences.
